On a cold February night out of
boredom I browsed used car ads on the net. I remembered a sleek car that I had
seen around rarely but admired a great deal. I plugged in "MR2" and
there it was. The next evening I found myself driving 60 miles to catch a look
in person. I actually drove by without stopping twice. I already had a car. I
sure didn't need another one. Finally I determined that it was crazy to drive so
far and not stop. Two days later I was the proud owner of a car that I hadn't
planned on owning or really needed. Yes, it was that cool!
So now I find myself the owner of
a mid-engined sports car with 85,000 miles on it. I don't know what you are
thinking, but I have a small shiver running down my spine considering the future
projects required to keep the Mister running. Gee, the most complicated thing I
have ever done to an automobile is change the oil and windshield wipers. Uh, I
have a lot to learn.
So in the meantime, I am enjoying the heck out of my car. I am looking up every
resource possible and attempting to suck up as much knowledge as I can.
This website has no predefined purpose. I hope to document everything that I do
( or need to do) with the MR2 with text AND photos (something I can't find much
